Travis Kelce has declared Taylor Swift will “shake up the world” with her new album.
The “Cruel Summer” singer announced at the Grammy Awards on Feb. 4 that she will drop her long-awaited 11th studio LP, The Tortured Poets Department, in April. Her NFL star boyfriend has teased the record is “unbelievable.”
“I have heard some of it, yes. And it is unbelievable. I can’t wait for her to shake up the world when it finally drops,” he said to reporters in Las Vegas for a Super Bowl media event.
But the Kansas City Chiefs tight end refused to share any details about the songs.
“I can’t give you anything. I’ll leave that up to her,” he said.
The 34-year-old sportsman has vowed to work just as hard as his “unbelievable” girlfriend when he plays in the NFL showpiece game this coming weekend.
“She’s unbelievable. She’s re-writing the history books herself,” he said. “I told her I’ll have to hold up my end of the bargain and come home with hardware, too.”
Kelce also revealed his current favorite song from Swift’s catalog.
“Right now, I’d probably say ‘Anti-Hero’ just ’cause I hear it every single day,” he said.
The “Blank Space” hitmaker announced the release of her album when she picked up the Best Pop Vocal Album for Midnights at the Grammy Awards.
“I want to say thank you to the members of the Recording Academy for voting this way. But I know that the way that the Recording Academy voted is a direct reflection of the passion of the fans,” she said in her acceptance speech.
“So I want to say thank you to the fans by telling you a secret that I’ve been keeping from you for the last two years, which is that my brand new album comes out on April 19,” she added.
