Fans are stomping on Drake after he posted a photo that, in their opinions, calls for the release of imprisoned felon Tory Lanez.
Lanez, a Canadian-born musician like Drake, has been behind bars since he was arrested for shooting ex-girlfriend Megan Thee Stallion in Los Angeles in the summer of 2020. Following his conviction in December 2022, Lanez was given a sentence of up to 10 years in the slammer and will face almost certain deportation.
A lot of Megan “Hotties” and others took umbrage at Drizzy’s decision to upload the following message for his 145 million Instagram followers:
Many fans interpreted Drake’s black-and-white photo of Lanez and the phrase “3 you” as a call to free the rapper and producer from prison.
Fans sounded off on the man born Aubry Drake Graham.
“Drake’s actions are so corny. He is NOT someone I’m willing to separate from the music. All of it can go,” one fan barked on X, while another person was brutal in assessing the situation: “The way drake and Tory was beefing with each other and didn’t get cool until after he shot meg. D— riding a– n—-s.”
