LeBron James created a social media frenzy when he was filmed courtside sharing an intimate moment with Los Angeles Lakers owner Jeannie Buss and Linda Rambis, the wife of former general manager Kurt Rambis.

Complex magazine reported that King James waltzed over to talk with Buss and Rambis, the Lakers’ executive director, during a timeout.

Black women took offense at the women putting their hands on LeBron

While many Black women said the two powerful White women got too handsy with Savannah James’ man, former NFL star Antonio Brown posted an NSFW meme of two naked White women in bed with a Black man in the middle. AB also captioned the photo “He Got Game 2,” referencing the cult classic He Got Game that starred Ray Allen and Denzel Washington.

LeBron James’ wife Savannah became trending news on Sunday morning

Other pointed comments and memes popped up all over the place on Saturday night, March 9. By Sunday, March 10, Savannah James’ name was catapulted to the top of the trending list nationally.

“When I tell you because LeBron had been such a stand up guy with his family the media & people are WAITING for him to mess up!” @bigsexyoffical surmised in the comments section of The Shade Room. “His wife Savannah is THAT GIRL I promise you he’s not going anywhere or doing anything to mess up his family.”

Some joked that Savannah might have had a word or two with King James when he walked in the door that evening.

Amid the joking, famed journalist Jemele Hill attempted to put some context to the viral video that had social media in shambles.

“Gals, this is THEE majority owner of the Lakers and the wife of a very beloved Laker (Kurt Rambis). Jeanie Buss (also married) honestly doesn’t deserve this silly a– messiness,” Hill penned on X.

Hill added that “Jeanie has had very close (PROFESSIONAL) relationships with a number of Lakers, including Magic, Kobe, Shaq, and countless others. Her demeanor would have been the exact same had any of those former players been there.”

Nevertheless, the jokes and critical comments streamed into X nonstop through the night and into the morning.
