A flood of new music just keeps coming.
Here are some of the top new music releases for the week of March 22.
Raury released Transcendence, his meditation album that contains seven tracks and was released on 3/21, which reversed divides into seven as well. The Atlanta native told rolling out he’s been locked in on his craft in his home studio east of the city with his producer and engineer as a roommate. He wants to continue to explore all types of sounds and genres, just like he’s done his entire career.
Future and Metro Boomin released WE DON’T TRUST YOU, which includes features from Playboi Carti and Kendrick Lamar. Lamar had the most viral moment of the project when he responded to J. Cole’s acknowledgment of fans’ “Big Three” comparisons of him, Lamar, and Drake as the faces of rap for the generation. In his verse on this album, Lamar said there’s no big three, just a big him.
