Prime Video is set to captivate audiences with the premiere of “Cross,” a new series based on James Patterson’s best-selling Alex Cross books, starring Aldis Hodge. The highly anticipated show will debut on November 14, as announced by Paramount Television Studios and Skydance Television.

The series, created by executive producer Ben Watkins, has already garnered enough confidence from the streaming service to secure a renewal for a second season. “Cross” delves into the life of detective and forensic psychologist Alex Cross, portrayed by Hodge, who has a unique ability to understand the minds of both killers and their victims, aiding in solving complex murder cases.

Aldis Hodge is not just the lead actor but also serves as an executive producer. He is joined by a talented cast, including Isaiah Mustafa, Juanita Jennings, Alona Tal, Samantha Walkes, Caleb Elijah, Melody Hurd, Jennifer Wigmore, Eloise Mumford, and Ryan Eggold. The show promises a deep dive into psychological mysteries and intense character-driven stories.

With a team of seasoned producers, including Sam Ernst, Jim Dunn, Craig Siebels, James Patterson, Bill Robinson, Patrick Santa, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Bill Bost, “Cross” is poised to be a significant addition to Prime Video’s roster of original content.
