Continuous support from leadership

Visible and consistent support from senior leadership is crucial in fostering an inclusive atmosphere. This support helps set a tone of inclusiveness and respect throughout the organization.


Understanding and education

Avoid generalizations: Understand that the experiences of one LGBTQIA+ employee do not represent the entire community. Employers should educate themselves to better support their staff.

Share resources: Provide materials that help employees learn about LGBTQIA+ histories and contributions.
