The beloved sitcom “Everybody Hates Chris” is making a comeback, but this time in a vibrant animated format. The cast is rounded out by Ozioma Akagha as Tonya, Chris’s sister; Terrence Little Gardenhigh as Drew, the middle child; and Gunnar Sizemore as Greg, Chris’s only friend at school.

The original live-action version of “Everybody Hates Chris” aired from 2005 to 2009 on UPN and the CW. It garnered critical acclaim, winning an NAACP Image Award for writing in 2007 and receiving multiple Emmy nominations and a Golden Globe nomination. The show’s relatable humor and poignant storytelling resonated with audiences, making it a staple in American television history.
