WhatsApp now comes with improved video call quality.
Meta has given the messaging app a spruce up just in time for festive catch-ups with friends and family this Christmas, promising “higher resolution with a clearer picture” during all calls on the app and desktop.
Users will also now be able to select call participants in a group before initiating group calls.
The updates also include 10 new fun visual effects, including puppy ears, an underwater scene, and a karaoke microphone.
A blog post teased: “We’ll continue making improvements to calling on WhatsApp so you can make the best quality, private calls from all around the world. Happy holidays!”
