Beleaguered NBA superstar Zion Williamson is embroiled in another explosive debacle as his alleged stalker reportedly broke into his home and beat up his current girlfriend.
Ahkeema Love, 31, the mother of Williamson’s child, reportedly broke into his home where his current girlfriend was and beat her, leaving her with facial lacerations before the stalker fled the scene.
Love is also accused of threatening her romantic rival and vandalizing her home with eggs on March 17 before she allegedly assaulted the woman at Williamson’s home in a gated community in Kenner, La., according to Jefferson Parish Assistant District Attorney Ralph Alexis, WSDU reports. The suburb is about 15 miles west of New Orleans.
Local police later tracked Love down within another luxury gated community and arrested her. She appeared in court on Tuesday, April 8.
The district attorney hit Love with three counts of home invasion, aggravated burglary, and stalking. Her bond was set at $50,000, WSDU reported.
Despite the violence popping off at his home with his current, unidentified female acquaintance, Williamson reportedly asked the judge for leniency on Love’s bail amount. The news station said Williamson informed the court that Love is a stay-at-home mother with young children, including their shared child, who was born in November 2023.
As a condition of her bond, Love was ordered to keep clear of the victim and to surrender the firearm she owned.
Love has no prior record of violence, her attorney, Brian Capitelli, said during the hearing on Tuesday.
Ziion Williamson recovers from one scandal, only to get immersed in another
Williamson has had a scandal-ridden and injury-plagued five-year career with the New Orleans Pelicans, who drafted him in 2019 out of Duke. Initially branded as one of the new faces of the league’s future, Williamson has been riddled with debilitating, season-ending injuries and chronic weight problems. Pundits and fans have openly questioned his dedication to the game, his lack of fitness and his decision-making in his personal life.
Williamson not new to love triangles and drama
Back when Williamson and Love were in love in the summer of 2023, the 6-foot-6 power forward announced to his 5 million Instagram followers that he and Love hosted a baby shower.
But that festive affair was marred by another woman, a self-proclaimed porn star named Moriah Mills.
Mills held onto receipts that she and Williamson were having a pay-to-play relationship while he was dating Love, replete with text messages, flight information and financial transactions that the NBA star made to Mills.
Blindsided by the baby news with Love, Mills stormed onto X (then known as Twitter) and unleashed a barrage of angry messages aimed at Williamson. She said that he never told her that he was in a relationship, much less explained that he was an expectant father.
“I was with you last week in New Orleans and you couldn’t tell me you had a random thot pregnant after all I’ve done for you @Zionwilliamson,” Mills tweeted in June of 2023. “Better pray I’m not pregnant too because I’m definitely late.”
The adult entertainment star said her relationship began with Williamson in 2021 and Mills referred to Love in 2023 as a “low-budget porn star.”
Mills also wished personal failure and professional disaster for Williamson in messages that she posted for days after the baby shower/gender reveal announcement.
Twitter suspended Mills’ account when she threatened to post photos and videos of their sexual encounters.
Despite the fact that Williamson finally exemplified attentiveness to his weight and conditioning, the athletic marvel had his season shut down yet again after suffering a lower back contusion, NBA.com reported earlier in 2025.
Evidence of his potential for superstardom lies in the impressive numbers that Williamson posted this season before the injury. According to the NBA’s website, Williamson averaged 24.6 points and 7.2 rebounds a game, while hitting an eye-popping 56.7 percent of his field goals.
