Kim Kardashian made it widely known that she desperately wanted to befriend Beyoncé. But her attempts at becoming Bey Bey’s BFF have failed miserably, according to multiple media reports.
Proof that Beyonce is keeping Kardashian at arms length arose on Saturday, Sept.1 at the Made in America festival in Philadelphia, where both Jay-Z and Kanye West performed, Beyoncé allegedly snubbed the reality star, says the Chicago Sun-Times.
Kardashian and Kanye West have been publicly dating for nearly five months. The “Flashing Lights” rapper and Jay-Z are best friends, so one would assume Beyoncé and Kim would become fast gal pals.
But it wasn’t just Beyoncé giving the cold shoulder, Kim allegedly “didn’t make any efforts to speak to Beyoncé either.”
The pair eventually “made small talk in the dressing room, but you could tell Kim was uncomfortable. She clung onto Kanye the entire time and didn’t say much,” according to the NY Daily News.
The Chicago Sun-Times goes on to say that their source told them that “Beyonce is always very cordial with Kim, but she’s keeping her distance. … The Kardashians are not what I’d call inside her comfort zone. At the end of the day, even though Bey can be very flamboyant on stage when she’s performing, she’s basically a pretty private, even somewhat shy person.
“Don’t get me wrong, she’s a strong personality and makes her opinions very clear, but she’s not into what I’d call ‘personal flamboyance’ — like what you see from the Kardashians. … You will never see Beyonce doing a reality show — that’s for sure,” the source continued.
And back in April, Wendy Williams said that inside sources told her that Beyoncé banned Kim from being invited into her and Jay-Z’s inner circle of friends.
