In a savvy business move to allow fans into her life, without sacrificing and subjecting her sanity and privacy to reality show cameras, Beyoncé announced she will be the subject of a self-directed film that will air on HBO on February 16, 2013.
“Directed by the superstar, the film is a fusion of video that provides raw, unprecedented access to the private entertainment icon and high-voltage performances,” the network says in a statement to press.
She offers, “This film was personal to me. It had to have the right home.”
