Chicago’s Metropolitan Board members and Chicago Urban League threw a election day viewing party to remember. Hot food, great drinks and conversation ruled the night that was capped off, of course, with the victory of President Barack Obama who was also in his hometown.

The Chicago Urban League it set to host the 51st Annual Golden Fellowship Dinner on November 10th 2012 at the Chicago Hilton. This year’s gala, themed We Are One, Connected, Committed for Chicago, will galvanize the city’s top business, civic, religious and political leaders and feature a show stopping performance from Grammy Award winning entertainer Gladys Knight. The Cosby Show’s Phylicia Rashad will accept the Edwin C. “Bill” Berry Civil Rights Award.
