We know that the Kardashians are motivated by money. But the latest reports may pinpoint why Khloe Kardashian has stayed married to Lamar Odom even though he has reportedly put her through a living hell — not to mention worldwide humiliation — with his serial infidelity, orgies and rampant drug use.
Lamar Odom has made Khloe Kardashian the beneficiary of the vast majority of his will, according to tmz.com. If something bad were to happen to Odom, Kardashian stands to inherit tens of millions of dollars.
Inside sources divulged that Odom, despite the rampant reports of his out-of-control binges and orgies, has stacked his chips very high from his NBA earnings. In fact, the former Los Angeles Laker and Dallas Maverick and current free agent has accrued more than $100 million dollars over his13-year career.
Contrary to the reckless spending habits of Odom’s fellow players, still has the majority of his money, which would mostly go to the “Keeping up With the Kardashian” star.
And if that’s not enough, Odom also took out an insurance policy on his life that makes Kardashian the primary beneficiary. On the surface, Kardashian and her camp say that she won’t pull the trigger on the marriage because she believes that leaving him in his current state would send Odom over the edge.
Now we are aware that there may be other (financial) factors involved. We are not trying to determine or quantify Kardashian’s love for Odom. But we also know that the Kardashian-Jenner clan are serious about their bread.
