It’s been a few weeks since Caitlyn Jenner made her debut and while most in the Kardashian family have responded to Bruce’s transition, we were left to contemplate when his ex-wife Kris Jenner was going to resurface with her own thoughts.
Now, after staying silent for nearly a month, Kris Jenner is finally speaking out about the epic Vanity Fair cover. “I think it’s amazing,” the 59-year-old told “Extra” at DailyMail’s Seriously Popular Party in Cannes on Wednesday night.
“I think that someone following their dream is truly inspirational to a lot of people. You have to do what makes you happy,” she continued. The “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star further gushed that Annie Leibovitz’s photos of Caitlyn were even “beautiful.”
And while her response doesn’t seem like much, she seems to be in a far better place than what fans have witnessed on their Sunday night show, visibly torn apart, teary eyed and heartbroken. Needless to say, her children seem to also feel Caitlyn will touch endless lives.
“She is so beautiful — The cover is perfect. I’m so proud. I’m glad she can be herself finally. I’m so happy it’s out — the suspense. It makes me want to shout out for joy. Absolutely!” Kim Kardashian-West told VF days following the cover release.
As for the Jenner daughter’s Kendall and Kylie, they both responded with simple but sweet words via social media. “Be free now pretty bird.” wrote Kendall to which Kylie followed up by tweeting, “My angel on earth! #caitlyn.”
