‘Preachers of L.A’ premiere gets blasted
Oxygen debuted a new reality show Wednesday much to the chagrin of fans and celebrities nationwide. A number of people were none too pleased by “Preachers of L.A.”, the new program focused on the lives and congregations of Bishop Ron Gibson, Minister Deitrick Haddon, Pastor Jay Haizlip, Bishop Clarence McClendon, Pastor Wayne Chaney and Bishop Noel Jones.
During the show’s premiere Twitter lit up with reactions including one from DL Hughley who was completely uninterested in what he was watching.
Another star who was vocal about their displeasure with the program was Lil Mo who agreed with a fan that the clergy were “trade”, a term for homosexual men who are undercover.
Other stars who commented on the controversial new show were “Hollywood Exes” star Sheree Fletcher and reality starlet Neffe Pugh.
