Iconic filmmaker Spike Lee was in Chicago on Christmas Eve at Barbara’s Bookstore at the University of Illinois at Chicago to promote his new book, Do The Right Thing. It’s based on his experiences in making his hit movie of the same name and is replete with photos and narratives of notables like Ossie Davis and Ruby Dee.
Lee was a big hit with the young and old who braved snow and frigid temperatures to meet him. –bernard williams
