Big Boi understands why it’s important to expose kids to the arts at an early age. His Big Kidz Foundation encourages students to explore the world, become great speakers, learn entrepreneurship, and hone their talents. On Dec. 14, Big Boi and the Big Kidz Foundation held their annual Holiday Celebration at the Atlanta Cyclorama.
Hosted by Clyde Anderson of CNN, the celebration featured performances from students who attend Tri-Cities High School, Coretta Scott King Young Women Leadership Academy and Frederick Douglass High School. Gabbie Rea of Purple Ribbon Kidz also performed.
After the performances, Big Boi presented the Renee Patton Scholarship in honor of his deceased aunt, Renee Patton.
Big Boi’s “Holiday Afterglow” party followed the reception. –amir shaw
