Toccara knows a few things about how to survive on reality television. Making her debut as a runner-up on Tyra Banks’ ‘Top Model’, Toccara found her way on to Celebrity Fit Club and then made her way through a host of other television acts (including a brief stint as hostess on BET) before landing her latest TV gig on TV One. ‘The Ultimate Merger’ is a dating competition show where Toccara is slated to sift between 14 suitors looking for true love *yawn*. We’ve seen this before. In an interview about the show, Toccara says:
“When I first saw the guys I was so overwhelmed,” Toccara told me when asked about all that testosterone in the room when she first walked in. “I went to the pool (probably to get some air) and then saw guys in trunks!”
“From the moment the camera’s started rolling,” said TV One EVP of Programming and Production when asked if she thought she made the right choice this season with Toccara. “It was fantastic the way she captured the attention of the men – we knew.”
