Florida State University’s Jameis Winston could be in trouble with the law, again. The Heisman Trophy winner was busted for attempting to steal crab legs from Publix.
According to reports by SB Nation, Winston walked out of the grocery store without paying for the crab legs. He was stopped by the store’s security and issued a misdemeanor citation by police.
Last year, Winston was investigated for the alleged rape of a fellow classmate. He was cleared of all charges and led the FSU football team to a BCS national title. In April, the woman filed a Title IX complaint against FSU stating that they didn’t properly investigate the sexual assault case.
The latest issue will bring further damage to Winston’s character and could raise issues for the NFL teams once he enters the NFL Draft.
