Mookie Blaylock on life support following car crash
Former Atlanta Hawk Mookie Blaylock is on life support following a head-on collision. The ex NBA All-Star was driving on Tara Boulevard in an Atlanta suburb (Jonesboro), when his Cadillac Escalade went over the median and struck another car, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Blaylock’s car burst into flames upon impact.
Blaylock and a female passenger from the other car were airlifted to Atlanta Medical Center. The woman is listed in critical condition.
Blaylock was an All-Star in 1994 with the Atlanta Hawks. He played seven seasons with the team.
