Serena Williams wins 20th Grand Slam title: Timeline details how she became No. 1

On Saturday, June 6, 2015, Serena Williams, 33, took home her 20th Grand Slam Title at the French Open in Paris. Since winning the U.S. Open in 2014, Williams has won the Australian Open and the French Open this year. She can’t take a break just yet. There’s Wimbledon and the U.S. Open to win this year. The win today places her third on the list of Singles Titles, following Margaret Court, who has 24, and Steffi Graf, who has 22.
