Lil Wayne has been speaking frankly about ending his hip-hop career for a little over two years now. The biggest star in the Cash Money Records universe, Wayne has been releasing hit records since before he was old enough to drive. And in a recent interview with MTV, Weezy reiterated his desire to end his career following the release of his upcoming album Tha Carter V. Or at least, he plans to end his solo career.

T-Pain still believes that his project with Lil Wayne can happen

Last week, singer T-Pain shared details regarding his supposed fallout with Cash Money Records and how it affected his anticipated project with label superstar Lil Wayne. Aside from Wayne’s incarceration at the time (due to a weapons conviction in New York City) and T-Pain’s own excessive lifestyle indulgences, apparently a “miscommunication” between Cash Money labelheads Birdman and Ronald “Slim” Williams and T-Pain’s own management team stalled the project.

Nicki Minaj denies having any beef with Drake

For several months, Young Money fans have speculated about the interpersonal relationships between some of the label’s biggest stars. In particular, Drake has seemed to be scrutinized the most. Many believed the Toronto native is distancing himself from other notables in the YMCMB camp–including fellow label star Nicki Minaj.
