Wé Ani displays versatile vocals and songwriting at Harlem’s Apollo Theater
Singer and songwriter Wé Ani garnered plenty of accolades appearing on American Idol last year. But the reality show competition wasn’t her first. She first competed on a national platform on The Voice in 2016. The year before, Wé Ani competed and won Amateur Night at the world-famous Apollo Theater and returned Saturday night for a sold-out, intimate show at the soundstage as part of the Apollo Music Cafe.
