Grammy Award winning producer Pharrell Williams has much to be “Happy” about. Williams, who celebrated his 41st birthday this week, landed another lucrative gig as a new coach on season 7 of NBC’s hit show “The Voice.”
Williams will be replacing CeeLo Green on the 7th season of the hit show. In season 4, the singer/producer appeared as Team Usher’s mentor during battle rounds. Williams’ appearance received such high ratings that the network couldn’t pass on offering him a full time panel position.
NBC took to Twitter to make the big announcement saying:
Okay, we can OFFICIALLY say it! WE ARE SO #HAPPY to announce PHARRELL WILLIAMS = #NewVoiceCoach for SEASON 7. pic.twitter.com/GayqbMeU1l

After receiving four Grammy Awards, the success of his new album G I R L, with his hit single “Happy” reaching No. 1 on the pop charts, and his partnership with Adidas, we’d have to admit that Williams is having one heck of a year. Congrats to Williams on his continued success! – ruthie hawkins/@ruubabie
