Columbus Short ordered to pay $17,000 a month in spousal support
Former “Scandal” star, Columbus Short learned a hard lesson this week after he was nailed with a huge spousal support fee after failing to show up at family court Wednesday afternoon.
Short, who has certainly been learning a lot about the legal system lately, has been ordered to fork over a whopping $17,005 a month in spousal support to his estranged wife, Tanee McCall.
If that wasn’t enough, Short was also ordered to pay $4,542 a month in child support, for a total of $21,547 a month.
Although Short and his counsel were entirely absent from the mandatory meeting, Short will also be responsible for McCall’s $25,000 in legal fees. Talk about a big bill…
According to Short’s Twitter feed, he is currently in Atlanta, Georgia, however, there has been no response from his camp as to why he was absent from taking care of business. – ruthie hawkins/@ruubabie
