The populous’ emotional high after President Obama announced Osama bin Laden’s death has been replaced with vociferous catcalls of nonsense by throngs of conspiracy theorists.

Fueling conspiracy theories is the circulated bloodied image of a man that was supposed to be the released photos of bin Laden. But the battered man with matted hair and a blank, half-opened eye has been circulating on the Internet for the past two years.

It was used on the front pages of the Mail, Times, Telegraph, Sun and Mirror websites, though, swiftly removed it after the fake was exposed on Twitter.

Also, conspiracy groups highly object to the fact that bin Laden’s body was disposed of before the public could see it. Obama proffered as justification that it was respectful in accordance with Muslim tradition to conduct such a burial. The conspiracy crowd is not buying it, however.
