A$AP Rocky and Jeremy Scott Discuss ‘Slavery Adidas’ at BET Awards: Exclusive Video

During the BET Awards, rolling out magazine caught up with A$AP Rocky, and innovative shoe designer Jeremy Scott, to discuss the reaction to his hotly debated JS Roundhouse Mids. The shoes made news earlier this summer for their controversial design.

Scott caught flack for the JS Roundhouse sneaker which along with its purple, orange and black colorway,  featured orange shackles that are attached to the heel of the sneakers and can be cuffed around the ankles. Some believed that the sneakers conjured disturbing images of slavery.

After the media caught hold to the backlash, Adidas decided to cancel the release date.
