Kenya Moore has long been considered one of the biggest hotheads of reality TV as she’s not only beefed with every one of her cast mates on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” but also a number of celebs on other reality shows as well. And her reputation for drama seemed to give way to a nasty rumor this week when reports began circulating that Moore had a meltdown recently while filming at Food Network. However, the “RHOA” star recently responded to the rumors and set the record straight on what really happened during filming.
According to media reports, Moore was cast on the ninth edition of “The Worst Cooks in America: Celebrity Edition” and allegedly had a meltdown after she was eliminated from the series after filming the first episode.
Sources say that Moore refused to leave the Food Network set and that she held up production for two hours as she declared: ‘I’m calling my agents and they better fix this s—.”
Sources say that Moore was particularly angry with celebrity judges Rachael Ray and Anne Burrell, who allegedly called what she prepared an “overcooked piece of fish.”
Moore was also allegedly mad at Burrell for criticizing her for wearing 6-inch heels during taping. Sources claim that Moore bashed Burrell during post-show taping, claiming that Burrell was “jealous of her beauty” and “had it out for me the entire time.”
Well, Moore recently opened up about the rumors and denied that she had a breakdown on the set of the cooking show.
“Over some cooking, hell no!” Moore said during the interview. “I think people just love to put out crazy stories because people will believe them so they can get clicks … I think it’s just a little publicity stunt. … All the cast were the best.”
Moore then revealed that she’s in talks with Food Network to get her own show.
“I have no idea where that story would come from. … The producers are talking to me about me doing my own cooking show,” Moore said.
During the interview, Moore also addressed her ongoing feud with Vivica A. Fox, which was reignited last week after Fox appeared on the “Wendy Williams” show and referred to Moore as a “toxic trick” before explaining that she hasn’t seen Moore since their infamous blowup on “Celebrity Apprentice.”
“No, I haven’t. I’m too busy having a legitimate career. And making sure people get paid,” Fox said.
Well, Moore didn’t take kindly to Fox’s words and she fired back at Fox about her looks and also bashed Fox’s plans for a reality show competition about male strippers.
“Why is she doing a reality show of her own? Worry about how you’re gonna fix your face,” Moore said.
Well, Moore may not be having any meltdowns, but it’s clear she’s still got enough drama going on in her life.
