Prince: The Black Millionaire Blueprint for Success

Prince: The Black Millionaire Blueprint for Success

There are few superlatives adequate enough to describe the musical prowess of this ultimate stage and studio showman. Prince is undeniably one of the most versatile, naturally-gifted, prolific and accomplished musicians in music history.

Very few artists have ever been able to boast as prolific a body of work as this Minneapolis-born maestro, but in addition, he has produced and delivered his music at such a dizzying rate that it confounded his contemporaries and music fans alike. He was a part of the 80s musical explosion of megastars that included Michael Jackson, Madonna, The Police/Sting and Bruce Springsteen, but he stood out because he was a member of, but refused to be a part of, the music status quo, which both endeared him to, and alienated, many fansat the pinnacle of his career.

Unlike his superstar peers, however, Prince was almost a blatantly and defiantly nonconformist who refused to produce music for commercial viability, but for pure artistic expression that incidentally sold tens of millions of records and secured his place in the pantheon of lyricists, singers and stage performers. Moreover, Prince was superior to most, if not all, of his legendary peers because he nearly devastating them when writing No. #1 Billboard, award-winning classics for the likes of; Chaka Khan (“I Feel for You”), Sinead O’Connor (“Nothing Compares to You”), The Bangles (“Manic Monday”), Sheila E. (“Glamorous Life”), The Time, Sheena Easton, Vanity, Appolonia, The Time and so many others.
Let’s take a look at the life of this living legend.
