On the second day of Black History Month, Russell Wilson entered the sports history book becoming the second black quarterback to win a Super Bowl.

Wilson led the Seattle Seahawks to 43-8 victory over the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII. He was one of only five black quarterbacks to ever start in a Super Bowl. In 1988, Doug Williams led the Redskins to a victory over the Broncos and became the first black quarterback to win the big game.

Steve McNair, Donovan McNabb, and Colin Kaepernick are other black quarterbacks to start in a Super Bowl.

Wilson threw two touchdowns and finished the game with a superb passer rating of 123.1.
