The intro skit to The Message Uni Versa, which is the latest release
from the soulfully psychedelic duo G&D, is anything but
conventional. In fact, this opening serves notice that the journey
through the albums next 20 tracks will indeed be a tripped out ride.
Composed of Georgia Anne Muldrow and Dudley Perkins, G&D’s sound is
OutKast-meets-John Lennon, with Dudley delivering the raps and Georgia
the funk-filled harmonies. The album’s title translates into “one song
in the universe.” The question is “which dimension of the universe?”
This is definitely a great addition for the collection of a true
