Joe Kingman (The Rock) is a famous quarterback who, as a bachelor,
likes to work hard and have fun. His party-hearty ways are overturned
when a 7-year-old daughter he never knew he had shows up in his life.
His dream lifestyle changes as he struggles to figure ballet classes
and bedtime stories into his usual schedule of practices, dates and
parties. The Rock’s magnetism is infectious, and equally endearing is
Kyra Sedgwick, who plays his big-time agent, Stella. The detail-laden
screenplay by Nichole Millard and Kathryn Price is energetic and keeps
