dishenda anderson – real estate tips for you
Real Estate Professional
Given the horrendous downturn in the real estate market, and the number of foreclosures due to subprime mortgages, Dishenda Anderson is concerned that consumers might not have the tools to navigate the ups and downs of real estate.
“There is a lack of knowledge. That is why we [minorities] so often fail. Unfortunately, there are not enough people who are willing to give free information,” she says.
Not one to stand on the sidelines and watch people lose their homes and most importantly, their investment, Anderson sees her role as an advocate — providing information to those who need it, and giving back to the community along the way. “I want to be an advocate. I would like to give free advice to help [consumers] help themselves … [which] could help my children in the future.”
Anderson, a realtor with Keller Williams, has been a real estate professional for eight years. Initially, working with hotels in the area, the field of property management captured her attention and it soon became her chosen career.
As a real estate entrepreneur launching her own property management company, Anderson encourages other professionals getting into the real estate business to, “Go into the business with integrity. Live and breathe integrity, because it is the key. When people can trust you they will come back to you and refer other business.”
“I’m here to provide truthful information that will help [consumers] sell, rent, buy or manage property. Don’t be afraid to ask questions,” she says. –tony binns
