Prince Po and producer TomC3 manage to pack a punch with heavy enough
flavor to leave underground hip-hop fans clamoring for more. TomC3
crafts 14 dark and dreary tracks, reminiscent of early Wu-Tang Clan
beats. Meanwhile, Po, one-half of defunct duo Organized Konfusion, does
his best to ride TomC3’s gloomy beats. The result is a collection of
off-kilter odes to the female form (“Candy”) and recollections of
childhood memories (“Now to Then”) that are sure to please today’s
