Police
released the man said to be an ex-lover and lawyer of Nova Henry, 24.
Henry, the mother of New York Knicks player Eddy Curry’s son, was found
dead Saturday afternoon (January 24) alongside her nine-month old
daughter.
Henry and daughter, Ava, were found shot to death on
Chicago’s South Side and were discovered by her mother, Yolan Henry. “I
wish I didn’t finder her,” Henry told the Chicago Tribune. “I wish
nobody had found her like that.”
A
man, who authorities will not name because he isn’t a suspect, was
arrested in Michigan City, Ind. on trespassing charges at a nearby
Comfort Inn. After speaking with Chicago Police officers, they
concluded that this person of interest was of no use to their case and
he was later released.
According to Chicago
Police Department spokeswoman Monique Bond, nothing has changed in this
case, “No suspects have been named, and detectives continue to talk to
a number of people.”
Curry, a Chicago native
and former Bulls player, has continuously been a subject of news
headlines. On January 19, he was accused by his limousine driver of
sexual harassment and racial discrimination. David Kuchinsky, 36,
alleges that he was terrorized by Curry who made several improper,
homo-erotic advances, as well as showered with anti-Semitic quips.
A
married father of four, Curry was paying upwards of $15,000 a month to
Henry in child support. Currently, Curry and the late Henry’s
three-year-old son, who was left at the scene unharmed, is the only key

– Curry is accused of sexual harassment by his former limousine driver.
The driver alleges that Curry approached him in the nude and said,
“Look at me, Dave, look. Come and touch it, Dave.” Curry has denied all
charges.
January 25, 2009 – Curry’s ex-girlfriend and mother of his three-year-old son, Nova Henry her nine-month old daughter are found dead.
