Ludacris’ pool house was destroyed in a fire late Wednesday night. Fulton County Fire Department spokesman Gregory Chambers confirmed that although a relative was in the basement of the main compound when the fire erupted, no one was injured.
According to Chambers, the fire was first reported by a neighbor, even before the alarm system at the home was triggered. Authorities arrived at the scene on DeMooney Road near College Park around 11:30 p.m. and were able to put out the fire within 30 minutes.
Ludacris, who is slated to release a new album, Theater of the Mind on Nov. 11 was in New York at the time of the fire. –j.h.
