For the fifth consecutive year, The Roots celebrated Grammy weekend by performing in an explosive jam session that attracted celebrities such as Seal, Travis Barker and Corinne Bailey Rae. This year’s live concert, which was presented by Rock the Vote, allowed several entertainers to give their opinion on the importance of voting.

We have an opportunity as a new generation to put our footprint on history. You have to make sure that you’re heard. Many people have died for the right to vote. If you don’t vote, you’re empowering someone to make decisions for you.
