Soul man, Anthony Hamilton, is preparing to drop his new album, The Point of it All
on Dec. 2, and while he says to expect the heartfelt love ballads
he’s become known for, this time he wants you to be able to
boogie to his grooves a little bit.
“I
definitely wanted to make people dance a little more,” Hamilton,
who was recently married, says. “I’m sure that’ll be
something new for [fans].”
Hamilton
says that it took a little over a year to record this album, and that
marriage hasn’t really changed his musical perspective. This
time, he was just happy to have a little bit more time to record.
“I
wanted to take that time recording and not be in a rush,” he
says. “It was headache though; I had too many songs to choose
from. It was definitely challenging picking a song.”
Hamilton is currently on tour and will be stopping through the following cities (partial list):
