As the director of community affairs for Anheuser-Busch Companies Inc. Miranda Mack-McKenzie knows the importance of relationships. The relationship between Anheuser-Busch and the community, for instance, is one that is at the very center of the brand and its corporate outlook. Mack-McKenzie plays a central role in continuing that relationship.


Mack-McKenzie ensures that Anheuser Busch is a presence at events around the country that speak to the people, and this holiday season she’s also helped bring the No. 1 name in brewed beverages to the Taste of Ebony affair, an excellent showcase for African American chefs. “We have enjoyed a wonderful partnership with Johnson Publishing Company and we’ve been a sponsor for Taste of Ebony since its inception,” she explains. “It gives us an opportunity to salute outstanding African American chefs from across the country.”

During Mack-McKenzie’s years with the brand, she’s been instrumental in a number of community oriented campaigns and in helping to spread the word about Anheuser-Busch. She’s also been involved in a myriad of civic events designed to educate and empower, including the Hip-Hop Summit On Financial Empowerment’s “Get Your Money Right” tour. “My role allows me an opportunity to give back and that’s what I really enjoy,” shares McKenzie.
