Ice Cube Working on TV Project With Lebron James

Ice Cube, who is currently on tour promoting his latest album, Raw Footage is ready to dip his hands in television again. The mogul will team with basketball star, Lebron James, to create a TV show based on the hoop star’s high school years.
In association with CubeVision, Cube is linking with James’ newly formed Spring Hill Productions for a one-hour drama which is set to air on ABC. James and Cube will share executive producer credits.
The pilot, which is yet-to-be-named will reportedly be a mixture of HBO’s Entourage and the movie Friday Night Lights. Production should begin in the spring, with a fall 2009 premier. –rogue marie
