The production duo, Kyle “Keelay” Pierce and Tim “Zaire” Lewis has fortified numerous MCs’ efforts with their abilities, so it’s only fair that their album is laced with some of those acts, such as Saafir and Cali Agents. With personality-laden music and soulful jams such as “Beautiful,” “Nurf to the Turf” and the title track, Kee and Zaire overcome the roster of rappers’ occasional limitations. Undoubtedly, this is my sleeper pick for one of the year’s best hip-hop albums. -forrest green III
