Contrary to Internet and blog rumors, Frankie Lon — mother of Keyshia Cole — did not die in a car accident. Yesterday, gossip and entertainment sites were abuzz with news that the controversial star of the BET reality show, “Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is” might have met her demise. The public reaction was so strong that Cole’s management company, Imani Entertainment, issued a statement dispelling the claims. “The rumor has absolutely no truth to it — Frankie has not been in any accident of any kind and is doing well at home in Atlanta,” the company said. 


Rick Ross’ Baby’s Momma to Release Book About Their Relationship

A pending book release will air Rick Ross’s dirty laundry in public. Tia Kemp, the mother of Ross’ child, who was seen on a shopping spree with 50 Cent, will release her memoirs in the autobiographical, Tia’s Diary: Deeper Than Rap. Though the book will not be released on 50’s publishing imprint, the rapper is said to have a financial investment in the project, which currently has no release date. 


Bow Wow Prepares Big Show for Detroit’s Final Four Weekend

This coming weekend, rapper Bow Wow will add to the excitement in Detroit surrounding the NCAA Final Four®. As part of the NCAA’s Hoop City community program, Bow will perform at Cobo Center, as well as sign autographs and divvy out free copies of his new album, New Jack City II.
