Reshanda Seymour, Founder of The Perfect Bartender, Shares Her Success

Reshanda Seymour is a walking burst of sunshine. And that’s a good thing, because she’s paid to spread good times and merriment at her clients’ events through her personal bar tending service, The Perfect Bartender. While times are good and the drinks are flowing, the former unhappy bank employee admits that she didn’t exactly set out to start this particular entrepreneurial venture. In fact, it seems to have found her.

“After I worked at the bank, I was a waitress, and eventually went into bartending. Somehow, word got out that I was a bartender and people started asking me, ‘Can you do this party at my mom’s house?’ ” Seymour recalls. “And I said [to myself] ‘There has to be people or a company doing that.’ I looked into it and there wasn’t any [urban] company doing that, so I said, ‘That’s what I’m going to do.’ I love it.”

Clients and attendees also love the special service — especially since Seymour’s bartenders are breathtaking beauties and hard-bodied hunks! Further, in addition to maintaining reasonable rates, Seymour is willing to organize refreshments for events ranging from large, upscale galas, to small, intimate gatherings.

For Seymour, the next step is expansion into other markets; however, right now she’s simply enjoying the success of her burgeoning business.

“I love the fact that I get to meet so many people and they enjoy our service. We really have a presence and there’s a good vibe,” says Seymour. “It sets the tone for the event, because everyone is feeling good and they’re bubbly. Who couldn’t love making money by pouring alcohol…in people’s homes and at great events?” –terry shropshire
