“I managed to stay relevant in the game because I love it,” he said. “I love to make music. A lot of people don’t realize that in order to survive in this game that is so competitive you have to love music like I do. And love will allow you to have longevity and stay in the game.”

Check out some comments from the other producers/songwriters on the panel:
Drumma Boy: “We here with the producers at the producers’ battle, giving [attendees] the feedback and the information that they need. A lot of producers [who are up-and-coming] are doing their thing. They’re trying to be like me, trying to get into the business, trying to be like Justice League. Trying to get where we at.:

Producers Skillz, Dramma Boy and others judge during Producer Showcase
Skillz, aka, the Million Dollar Back Pack Kid: “To all the kids out there that are doing they’re thing and want to be artists, realize that there are a lot of other things that you can do in the industry. If you’ve got songs in you, if you’ve got music in you, get behind that computer, on myspace and youtube or whatever, and get it crackin’. You’re the future—we’re just here holding it down ‘til y’all get here. “
Kenny from the Justice League: “We’re just trying to give back to the people who are coming up. So everyone out there that’s trying to do music seriously, that’s exactly what you gotta do: do it everyday, make it your passion. Don’t be a weekend warrior. That’s what we’re out here trying to do, getting people motivated, keeping people excited.”
Rook of the Justice League: “We out here representing Tampa, Fla., and listening to all the talent coming in from all over the country and other countries. It was great music during the producer showcase, and I’m loving it all.”
