Brandon Williams, aka Urban Mystic, is an American R & B singer as well as the son of a minister. Put that information in context, and his lyrics are startling. The cut “Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop” finds him proclaiming to a love interest, “I’ll be bouncin’ on yo’ g-spot.” The music is an electronic free-for-all of moods. This album is at times formulaic, contrived and forgettable, but that gravelly voice adds character, nevertheless. –forrest green III
