“It’s a taste of everything,” says Biff Barker, a Houston native and Clark Atlanta University graduate. “A lot of shows don’t really address things in a positive manner. We don’t do ‘He Said/She Said’ to get into arguments or a battle of the sexes. We try to do things to bring people together.”
At the end of the day, that’s the cornerstone of the show, which has been reaching everyday people on the airwaves for over two years.
“Stuff can get negative on the Internet,” says Biff Barker. “My goal with the show is to have a voice for the real person that goes and gets their checks cashed. The person that loves their girl, but may not have a job right now — that’s who we speak to.”
With an international audience, The Brunch has reached people around the globe, and you’d better believe that the guys appreciate their worldwide influence.
“It’s good to know that you are touching a lot of people worldwide,” says Dotcom, who also graduated from CAU. “It’s good to know that I’m really touching people that appreciate hip-hop and comedy and the positive energy that we give through these airwaves.” –jh
