ATLANTA– Before a packed crowd of approximately16,000 people on Sunday, May 24, T.I. bid a final farewell to fans before heading off to serve a year and a day in federal prison. The sold-out concert showcased Grand Hustle’s entire roster of artists and boasted some electric performances.
“I’m going to stand up tall, head up high,” T.I. told the crowd of his impending jail time. “Thank you for all of your support.”

The Grand Hustle camp, including an energetic B.O.B aka Bobby Ray, Young Dro and Yung L.A. showed up to support their boss and mentor who offered his good-byes. But of course, Tip was the main act, and he didn’t disappoint the thousands who came to support him as he ran through songs like “Live Your Life” and “Whatever You Want.” At one point, Soulja Boy also joined him on stage as did his four-year-old son, Clifford “King” Joseph Harris III, who mirrored daddy’s every move.
Overall, the tone of the entire concert was upbeat, despite the circumstances, and the Grammy-winning rapper assured fans that he learned his lesson and hoped they learned from his mistakes as well.
“What I need y’all to do is pray for me while I’m gone,” he said. “I’ll see y’all in 366 days.”
T.I. must report by noon on Tuesday, May 26, to FCI Forrest City, a medium security facility housing male offenders in eastern Arkansas. -rogue marie
