In this weeks rides section we’re reviewing luxury vehicles.
Jaguar XF The 2009 Jaguar XF is a radical departure from the Jaguar designs of the past, in a good way. Superb exterior design with futuristic interior upgrades like a recessed gear dial that lifts up once the car is started and you just dial clockwise to put the vehicle in gear, is only one example of the man new designs that signal a bold new direction for Jaguar. There are too many options for me to tell you about. Just go test drive this car, I promise you will not be disappointed. Adequately equipped with a 4.2L/420 hp V-8, this car goes from 0-60 in 4.9 sec. PRICE $64,010

Volkswagen CC Luxury Volkswagen has also stepped up their game with the 2009 CC, which is eerily similar to the Mercedes CLS. This vehicle has a distinctly styled exterior with an attractive interior and fortified with great handling and performance makes this a winner for Volkswagen. The model I drove had the 2.0 TFSI 200 horsepower turbocharged in-line 4 cylinder engine. Even though this model comes with a 3.6L six cylinder engine, the turbocharged 2.0L, provides more than enough performance for everyday driving. PRICE $36,090

Cadillac CTS “Cadillac Style” is back with the 2009 CTS. This vehicle is another performer. Don’t think the aggressive exterior and interior styling is for looks only. This vehicle has a 3.6L V6 engine that pumps out 304 horsepower while using regular gas. When you couple this with a superior suspension package it’s an all around great deal, if you are in the market for a luxury performance vehicle. PRICE $39,340 |
