Allstate understands the importance of fatherhood. So does Allstate metro-Atlanta’s financial specialist Charles Ross. As both Ross and the insurance giant prepare to throw the full weight of their support behind the Seventh Annual Ryan Cameron Father Daughter Dance, he acknowledges that he is proud of his company’s support for such a powerful event.
“We’re very proud to be a part of the Father Daughter Dance, which is sponsored by the Ryan Cameron Foundation,” he says. “It’s an excellent opportunity for us to be involved in the community, as Allstate is very much focused on strengthening the community. The family is very important to us, so supporting this event was the right thing to do.”
For Ross, it also gives him another opportunity to relish the relationship that he shares with his own three daughters. “In terms of raising my 3 daughters — I think that fathers and daughters have a very special relationship,” he beams. “I have always said that with my daughters, the parenting does not stop when they reach 18. I have a daughter that is 27 and who is well into her career, and I still parent her. I also have a daughter who is 18, as well as one that is 8. So I have a broad spectrum, and I use the experiences from raising my oldest daughter and apply them to my younger daughters because I see the positive effects that my approach had in her life. I just can’t wait to spend that evening with them at the father daughter dance. It is going to be a proud day for me.” –dewayne rogers
