Prior to this album, soul singer Lee Fields released seven singles and one album during the seventies. Recently cameo performances on a few cuts by house producer Martin Solveig, have made him a celebrity in some parts of Europe, but Americans should take note and listen to the delightfully raw-voiced Fields today.
